During the StartUp UNC graduate course in the Kenan-Flagler Business School, I joined This and That Games, a local start-up that makes tabletop board games. They sought to expand into the educational games market, and I advised them on curricular content as their Vice President for Education Innovation. We created “Survive: Mars,” a board game focused on improving skills in geometry through space-themed scenarios, and targeted towards middle school students and their families.
